Portland 2016

What can I say?

Portland was awesome. I met some very interesting people and saw some very interesting things. The food was amazing, the scenery both in and out of the city was beautiful, and I feel so refreshed after this mini-vacation. It was the perfect blend of relaxing and exploring.

Some highlights of the trip:
- I took a bike tour through the Columbia Gorge and it has probably the prettiest forestry I've ever seen. For me to not be upset that it was raining during this tour really speaks towards just how beautiful everything was. The tour guide also gave an overview of Oregon from its origin to its current day issues and struggles. I think Colorado has given me a greater appreciation for nature, and for that I'm thankful.
- There was lots of good food, but I think what will stick with me is the fries that I had at Little Big Burger. The burger itself was just alright, but man the fries were so good. It could've also been due to the fact that this was my meal right after biking all morning/afternoon.
- The AirBnb I stayed at was a hostel-style living. I ran into people from all around the country/world, and I even got the opportunity to hang out with a couple of them. I think the organic relationships was the cherry on top.

Beyond that, I'll let the pictures to the rest of the talking. Enjoy!

BIG ANNOUNCEMENT

So I've been trying this thing where I start making more videos, maybe gauge if I find any more interest in this than just photography. Let me know what you think!
