What's a Texas?

I just want to say: my trip to Texas was a lot of fun. This is one of a couple of times that I traveled somewhere else by myself, and the more that I do it, I think the better I'm getting at it in terms of planning the logistics and finding a rhythm of things to do.

Pioneer Plaza

Old Red and the JFK memorial
Reunion Tower, shot where JFK was shot

Dr. Pepper Museum in Waco

Longhorn Cavern

Texas State Capitol

HOPE Outdoor Gallery

Water Wall

It was great seeing my friend out there too, but there are a few regrets from the trip. I wish I spent more time in Austin and had some In-n-Out while I was there. I wish I visited San Antonio and stuff like the river walk while I was out there. And here's the worst part: I actually lost one of my SD cards while I was out there!! D: It was a bunch of videos that I took while I was out there, and I think I left it in the rental when I was in a hurry to return the car and make it on time for the flight. Maybe good practice in the future is to have my contact info on or in the card should some straight up good Samaritan want to return it. I was excited to make a pretty neat video, but now you'll have to see like the latter 2ish days worth of footage when I got lazier and filmed less.
BUT all in all, it was an awesome trip!!!!

Announcement(s)!

Hey everyone, guess what?!

I will be going to Texas in a couple weeks!

I'm not gonna lie, I am pretty excited to go. What part of Texas, you ask? Answer: yes. It's going to be a pretty high caliber trip! Over the course of 3.5 days, I'm looking to hit Houston > Dallas > Austin > ?San Antonio? (still deciding) > Houston. I have a buddy who lives out there right now, and although he only has time to hang out on the weekend, it does give me the opportunity to do some of my own roaming before we meet up!!

And guess what else?

I got a new camera lens!

It's a Sigma 17-50mm 2.8f. In English, it's a lens that has the range of taking anything from relatively wide landscape shots to portrait shots. In simpler English, it's a lens that suits basically 99% of all my needs, and I'm loving it so far!! Here's some stuff I shot with the new glass, which will hopefully be joining me on my Texas trip too!
